Editorial and catalog standards
These standards govern series metadata, comic media, rankings, reader guides, automated imports, corrections, and removals.

Catalog gate
Ready cover, chapters, and page records
Age rule
Adults only; ambiguous records are held back
Canonical rule
One stable URL for each published item
Publication requirements
A series must have a clear title, a stable source identifier, a cover, at least one ready chapter, and complete ordered page metadata. Duplicate source IDs and duplicate normalized titles are skipped.
- Creator attribution is retained when it is available.
- Categories describe the comic format; genres describe the story; tags describe specific themes or attributes.
- Age-ambiguous or explicitly minor-coded records are excluded from automated publication.
- Broken, incomplete, or unavailable media is held back until it is ready.
Selection and ordering
Popular listings use catalog readership data together with visible popularity lists from established adult-comic archives. These signals help order discovery pages; they are not presented as audited audience measurements.
New catalog publication is capped at one comic per UTC day after the reviewed launch set. Editorial articles imported from the approved Docs Library are scheduled at least three days apart. A source series can be assigned to only one domain in this deployment, so separate sites do not mirror the same catalogue record.
Automation and editorial responsibility
Automation may retrieve approved records, normalize URLs, remove duplicate headings, sanitize article markup, optimize cover files, and schedule publication. Supplied articles must pass minimum readable-content and heading checks, and exact or near-duplicate article bodies are blocked across every site in this deployment. Third-party links in supplied copy are marked nofollow. Automation must not bypass rights, age, identity, or media-readiness checks.
Porn-Comic accepts responsibility for the presentation and publication of scheduled guides, and those pages visibly identify the workflow. Automatically generated volume is not an editorial goal. A page should give a reader a complete comic, accurate navigation, or useful first-party guidance. Highly templated chapter-reader URLs remain outside Search unless a later review establishes distinctive page-level value.
Story submissions
Registered adult members may upload a cover and ordered comic pages. The server verifies image type and dimensions, removes embedded metadata, converts accepted files to WebP, and keeps pending files behind authenticated review routes.
No story submission is published automatically. A moderator must review the whole image set, rights and age declarations, creator credit, labels, and summary. Reviewers may reject, relabel, remove, or request changes, and approval does not prevent a later rights or safety review.
- The submitting member must own the work or have written permission to publish it.
- Every depicted character must be clearly presented as an adult.
- Uploads must be illustrated or computer-generated and may not depict identifiable actual people.
- Age-ambiguous titles, genres, and tags are blocked before the submission enters review.
- Promotional URLs and search-spam metadata are not accepted in submission fields.
Corrections and removals
Factual errors, incorrect creator credits, broken chapter order, duplicate titles, and unsuitable tags should be corrected in the page itself. Material is disabled while a credible age, consent, or rights concern is reviewed.
Send the exact URL, the requested correction, and supporting information. Copyright notices follow the separate DMCA process.
Reader ratings
Series and chapter pages display the same Porn-Comic reader-rating total for their parent series. Each accepted vote is an integer from one to five. A later vote from the same reader replaces the earlier value instead of increasing the count.
Catalogue-source ratings are not mixed into this total. AggregateRating markup is added to the series schema only after Porn-Comic has collected at least one visible reader vote. Suspected automated or manipulated votes may be removed.
