Submit a copyright notice

Send a written notice to the copyright contact below. A complete notice should contain the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

• Your physical or electronic signature, or that of an authorized agent.
• Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if one notice covers multiple works.
• Identification of the material at issue and information reasonably sufficient to locate it, preferably each exact Porn-Comic URL.
• Your name and sufficient contact information, including a mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement of good-faith belief that the complained-of use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

What happens next

Porn-Comic may ask for missing information, disable access while reviewing a credible notice, preserve relevant records, and notify the content provider where appropriate. A notice does not automatically establish infringement, ownership, or liability.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may carry legal consequences. Submit only accurate, authorized claims.

Counter-notice

If material was removed because of mistake or misidentification, the person who provided it may submit a counter-notice. It should identify the removed material and its former location, include a physical or electronic signature, provide the sender’s name, address, and telephone number, include the statements and consent to jurisdiction required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), and confirm acceptance of service from the original claimant or agent.

Counter-notices may be shared with the original claimant. Restoration, when legally appropriate, follows the statutory timetable unless the claimant reports a qualifying court action.

Other concerns

A DMCA notice is for copyright. Reports involving age, consent, privacy, impersonation, trademark, or personal safety should explain the concern and use the general legal contact so it can be routed correctly.
